Result to number 4
Recently i have done a bit of research about the price of cricket nets and rugby posts. I will attach some weblinks that i found and give you a range of prices. I found that you can get cricket nets from $504 to $2710. Rugby posts range from $768 to $7537. After looking at these REALLY EXPENSIVE prices it might change my plans on having quite a few of each. Below i have attached some links.

Result to number 1
Since i last posted a blog i have done some information on what parks there are in Vaucluse. I have attached a map of Vaucluse. All the red dots are the parks. Out of a possible 12 parks i think i can have sporting facilities in 2 of them by the end of the year.

Getting informed.
Stage one of our make a difference is to get informed. You can get informed in many different ways. Below i will be listing some of the ways i am getting informed and the order in which i'm doing it.
- Get a massive map of Vaucluse and mark where there are parks.
- Do some research and find out which parks and where abouts in them i am aloud to take action.
- Interveiw local kids to see what they think about the issue and if they have tried to do anything about it.
- I will found out how much it costs to put cricket nets and rugby posts up.
- I will find out what materials and who are needed to build them.
I think that if i can find out about these things by the 17th of september (one week from now) i will have good knowledge about my topic and this should help me alot.
If anyone finds out anything or has seen anything could you please let me know in the comments section.

More sporting facilities in Vaulcuse.
I am doing a make a difference challenge at school for a project. My personal goal for this project is to make a difference in my community by acquiring information and taking action.
WHAT
Lack of sporting facilities in Vaucluse is a HUGE problem. Although there are many grounds in Vaucluse with HEAPS of space for facilities such as football posts or cricket nets the local community have been lazy and just thought that someone else will take care of it. I am that person that will take action. I think by the end of my challenge there should be at least one set of post, one or two cricket nets and some cut grass in Vausluse House.
WHY
I would like to carry out this task because every single kid who enjoys sport will enjoy it. There are even some benefits for the parents. They will not need to drive as far and also the kids will stay healthy. I moved to Vaucluse only a few months ago and i was delighted that there were heaps of grounds. I went to check them out and i was greatly disappointed when i found out that there were no cricket nets or footy posts. THIS WILL CHANGE!!
How
I will know when when my task has been acomplished because there will be a dramatic difference in the attitude shown by the children and alot of stress taken off the parents aswell.
